S
Change by Discovering New Horizons

Shape what comes next.

A new role, a turning point or a sense that something needs to change. Coaching gives you space to pause, see your situation more clearly and explore the horizon ahead.

Change by discovering new horizons begins with shared exploration. Together, we uncover possibilities, explore your choices and define meaningful goals that reflect what matters to you.

You choose the direction. I bring curiosity, perspective and accountability as we translate your goals into practical steps, review what you learn and adapt the plan together.

Discover together. Choose your direction. Move towards your goals.

The person beyond the profile

See potential before it becomes performance.

People are often judged by what they have already achieved. We are interested in what they may be capable of next: what has not yet been recognised, what has not yet been given room, and what may be waiting to emerge.

Leadership changes when we move beyond credentials, hierarchy and reputation and ask: What is alive here? What matters? What wants to grow? What might I — or they — not yet be seeing?

Your path to purposeful change

Discover. Explore. Choose. Act.

01 — DISCOVER

Find your starting point.

Notice what matters, what gives you energy and where change is needed. Recognise the strengths and experience you already bring.

02 — EXPLORE

Widen your horizon.

Look beyond familiar answers. Explore your patterns, relationships and assumptions, and make room for possibilities you have not yet considered.

03 — CHOOSE

Choose your direction.

Together, explore your options and define goals that matter to you. Choose a direction and shape a flexible plan around your values and priorities.

04 — ACT

Make change practical.

Take manageable steps, try new approaches and reflect on what you learn. Build momentum with support and accountability.

The group within the individual

No one leads alone.

Every leader carries a world within them: family, community, culture, country, faith, class, history and generational memory. Conventional coaching can stop too soon when it treats the individual as though they exist apart from these wider systems.

By seeing the pattern more clearly, we gain more freedom to choose what we carry forward, what we leave behind, and what we create next.

The wisdom we carry

What are you ready to carry forward?

Wisdom travels through stories, traditions, relationships, ritual, myth, folklore and the ways people care, survive, lead and imagine.

What we inherit is not always something to leave behind. It can be a living resource for understanding ourselves, our people and our organisations.

What is alive in you — and what might become possible if you give it expression?

Coaching as shared discovery

What do you already have?

“What do I have to move my idea forward?”

And then:
What is it that I have, but I am not yet seeing — or do not yet realise I have?

There may not be an immediate answer. Through the coaching conversation, coach and coachee stay curious together. Over time, something more specific can emerge: a capacity, an idea, a choice, a different way of seeing, or a possibility that was present but had not yet been recognised.

The next question is practical: What do you want to do with what you now see?

A fresh perspective on what comes next.

Let’s start a conversation

I bring experience in leadership, staff development and community engagement to my coaching, drawing on a background in nonprofit management, training and programme development.

I’m interested in the person behind the role: your strengths, your challenges and the possibilities you may not yet see. Together, we make space for fresh thinking and turn insight into practical steps.

As a reflective partner and a source of accountability, I help you clarify what matters, explore what is holding you back and move forward with greater intention.

What to expect

A clear agreement.
A journey shaped together.

From our first conversation to our final review, we agree how to work together and keep your goals at the heart of the process.

1. A chemistry session

We begin with an introductory conversation to explore what brings you to coaching, what you hope to gain and whether we feel well suited to working together. You can ask questions and get a sense of my approach. You do not need a fully formed goal, and there is no obligation to continue. Any fee for this session is confirmed before you book.

2. Agreeing how we will work

If we both wish to proceed, we agree an initial series of six coaching sessions. Before you commit, our coaching agreement sets out the session length, frequency and format, fees and payment arrangements, cancellation and rescheduling terms, and how either of us can bring the work to an end. We also agree what contact, if any, is available between sessions.

3. Your goals and a living plan

Together, we clarify what you want to work towards, why it matters and how you will recognise progress. We shape a practical plan around your circumstances, strengths and priorities. This remains a living plan: we revisit it as you learn, your situation changes or new possibilities emerge.

4. What happens in a session

We begin by checking in, reviewing any agreed actions and choosing what would be most useful to focus on that day. Through listening, questions, reflection and thoughtful challenge, I help you explore your options and the patterns or assumptions influencing your choices. We finish by drawing together what you have discovered and agreeing any next steps.

5. A shared commitment

I bring attention, honest feedback, encouragement and accountability. You bring your experience, willingness to reflect and responsibility for your own decisions. Between sessions, you may choose a practical action, experiment or reflection to carry into everyday life. We review what happens with curiosity and use that learning to move forward.

6. Confidentiality and clear boundaries

We agree how confidentiality will be maintained, its limits and how any notes or personal information will be handled before coaching begins. If an employer or another organisation is funding the work, we agree with you in advance what, if anything, will be shared with them.

Coaching focuses on your development, choices and actions. It does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis or crisis support. If a need arises that falls outside the scope of our work, we discuss whether another kind of support would be more appropriate.

7. Reviewing progress and completing the work

Throughout the process, we make space for your feedback about what is helpful and what needs to change. At the end of the six sessions, we review your progress, the learning you want to carry forward and how you can sustain it. We then decide together whether to conclude or agree further sessions.
